| Master John Seay - 5th Degree |
Master John Seay is a 5th Dan black belt who has studied and taught Tae Kwon Do for
more than 16 years. He is also a certified Level 1 Mike Swain Judo
Instructor. Master Seay is a native of Texas. He first became interested in martial arts as an activity he could do with his children. His deep love of teaching led to him opening his own school in 1996. He also teaches Tae Kwon Do at Hill Elementary School in
Austin and he is a personal trainer. He has a background in both
nursing and music. |
| Master Clarence Montgomery - 6th Degree |
Master Montgomery is a 6th Degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate. He has also studied the techniques and strategies of Kenpo Karate, Jeet Kune Do, Kajukenbo, Kyokushin Karate and Wing Chun. He was awarded a Distinguished Service Citation from the City of Austin Police Department on February 6th, 2005 for coming to the aid of a police officer.

| Blaise Cole - 2nd Degree |
Blaise earned his 1st degree black belt in 2003 and his 2nd degree in 2007. He spent his entire martial arts career at Third Coast Martial Arts starting as an 8 year old in 1999. He has also trained in tai chi, jui-jitsu, wrestling and kung fu. Blaise is currently a freshman at Texas A&M University studying aerospace engineering. He remains active with Third Coast Martial Arts and is working on his 3rd degree black belt.

| Paul Barnes - 2nd Degree |
Paul has been at Third Coast since 2001. He earned his 1st black belt
in 2006 and his 2nd degree in 2008. Paul is currently working on his
3rd degree black belt. He is a graduate of the University of Texas with an accounting degree and has been a small business owner for the past 19 years. Paul is married with 2 teenage children who got him into the martial arts. His sister, Sara Phelps, is also a 2nd degree black belt at Third Coast Martial Arts. |
| Sara Phelps - 2nd Degree |
Sara has studied Tae Kwon Do at Third Coast Martial Arts for 8 years and is currently a 2nd degree black belt. In addition to the TKD curriculum, she enjoys practicing bokken with Master Garner and combat sparring with Master Montgomery. Sara is a Finance Director at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (formerly Holt, Rinehart and Winston), an educational publishing company. In addition to martial arts, she enjoys cycling, reading, and photography. She is a recent convert to the “hobby” of running and also takes violin lessons. Her brother, Paul Barnes, is also a 2nd degree black belt at Third Coast Martial Arts.

| Jami Hatch - 1st Degree |
Jami is a first-degree black belt and mother of 2 TCMA black-belts. She has been at TCMA since 1997. Jami is the TCMA Business Manager and has been a martial arts instructor for more than seven years. Jami also teaches the
TCMA Lil' Dragons and after school programs at Hill Elementary School, and St. Andrews Episcopal school.

| Jordon Hatch - 1st Degree |
Jordan earned her black belt in 2002 and has been at Third Coast since
1997. She is currently a freshman at TCU and is working toward her 2nd degree black belt.

| Patrick Germain - 1st Degree |
Patrick earned his 1st degree black belt in 2003. He joined Third Coast Martial Arts in 1999 at the age of 8. Patrick is currently a freshman at Tulane University and working toward his 2nd degree black belt.

| Hannah English - 1st Degree |
Hannah started studying martial arts at TCMA in first grade. Eight years later she is a first degree black belt. She was promoted in February 2007. Hannah is currently a student at McCallum High School. In her free time she is a senior girl scout and volunteers to help the homeless.

| Tori Dusse - 1st Degree |
Tori is from a family of Third Coast Martial Arts black belts. Her mother is Susan Seay and her step father is Master John Seay. Tori has studied American Tae Kwon Do for six years and was promoted to black belt last year. Tori was also the Third Coast Martial Arts student of the year. She is a junior at Anderson High School where she is active in choir.

| Ryan Ramirez - 1st Degree |
Ryan is a first degree black belt at Third Coast Martial Arts. He started his training in August 2003 at the age of 9. He earned his black belt in December 2007. Ryan is currently in 9th grade at Harmony Science Academy. In his free time he likes to play video games, swim and play basketball.

| Nick Virden - 1st Degree |
Nick attained his 1st degree black belt at the age of 15 after 8 years of studying Tae Kwon Do at Third Coast Martial Arts. He is the winner of the Showdown at High Noon Tournament. Nick teaches classes at Third Coast Martial Arts and attends Anderson High School where he is active in the bowling club.

| Andrea Adams - 1st Degree |
Andrea Adams started at Third Coast in September of 2004 and earned her black belt in December 2007. She also studied Tai Chi for two years. Her son, Cameron, is a student at TCMA and will be testing for his black belt in February 2010. Andrea is a software engineer at Paymetric, Inc and is a licensed massage therapist. Her other interests include posture alignment, playing soccer, hiking, cooking and spending time with her family.

| Mark Huff - 1st Degree |
Mark began his martial arts training in 1997 and earned his 1st degree black belt in December 2007. He took some time off of training in between to attend school in Florida and work in the Bahamas and
Caribbean. Mark works in Loss Prevention for HEB Grocery Co. in the Austin area and enjoys golf, scuba diving, search and rescue, and
studying the martial arts. |
| Logan Seay - 1st Degree |
Logan began his martial arts training at the age of 6 with his brother and parents. He
took time off of his training while a red belt, but later returned and was awarded his 1st degree black belt in May 2008. He is now part of the TCMA staff. Logan is a senior at the University of Texas majoring in Plant Biology. His
hobbies include music, philosophy, science
fiction, astronomy, and observing and appreciating nature. |
| Leon McCowan - 1st Degree |
Leon has studied martial arts for nearly 6 years. In addition to his black belt in American tae kwon do, he has also studied judo and WTF tae kwon do. Leon is an RCRA Waste Manger, Minister of New Members, and Ph.D student.

| Susan Seay - 1st Degree |
Susan was promoted to black belt in May 2008. She first joined Third Coast Martial Arts in February 2002 to study with her youngest daughter Tori Dusse, who is also a black belt at TCMA. In addition to teaching classes at TCMA, Susan enjoys running half marathons, century bike rides, yoga and ballroom dancing.

David earned his first degree black belt at Third Coast Martial Arts in May 2008. He began studying American Tae Kwon Do in 1994. David has his own business working as an electrician. In his spare time he enjoys boating, golf, traveling and studying Tae Kwon Do with his friends at TCMA. |

Beth is a first degree black belt at Third Coast Martial Arts. She started taking classes in 2004 to keep up with her son. She was promoted to black belt in February 2009.

| Karen Bogart - 1st Degree |
Karen began martial arts training in May 2005 at Third Coast Martial Arts . She earned her 1st Dan Black Belt in American Tae Kwon Do in February 2009. She has twice been named Student of the Month, received the Perseverance Award in 2005, and the Persistence Award in 2007. Karen owns Convenience Office Supply and Interiors with her husband. She also serves on the Board of Directors for TriMega Purchasing Association and American Office Products Distributors as vice-president as well as on the United Stationers Dealer Advisory Council. She is the incoming president for Les Amis de Hospice, which is the fundraising arm of Hospice Austin, a nonprofit organization.
